Dean joined the firm in 2009 and is a partner.  Dean’s practice focuses on commercial/business litigation, counseling and transactions, and he works with individuals and companies in a wide range of industries and practices.  Dean’s litigation practice includes claims involving, without limitation, breach of contract, fraud, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder/partner disputes, trust disputes, intellectual property disputes, restrictive covenants, defamation and other business-related torts and commercial matters.  Dean regularly appears in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels and governmental agencies.  Dean also has extensive experience drafting a broad range of contracts, including, without limitation, employment agreements and vendor agreements, and he provides counseling to businesses on issues such as employee discipline and discharge and workplace investigation.  Dean also counsels his clients in connection with entity formation and business acquisitions, dispositions, mergers and other transactional-related matters.
