Ray joined the firm in 2022 as a partner. Having both prior law firm and in-house experience, he concentrates his practice on complex real estate transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, development, leasing, and financing of retail, office, industrial and multi-family properties. Ray manages all phases of transactions, including the preparation and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, estoppels and other ancillary documents, as well as performing all related due diligence. He represents national developers, shopping center owners, office building owners, retail and office tenants, foreign and domestic corporations, and high net-worth individuals in commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States.
Ray also has a thorough understanding of zoning and entitlements. His first career as a city planner and his membership in the American Institute of Certified Planners compliments his legal practice, giving him an unprecedented understanding of the dynamics that influence zoning and entitlement processes.
