David Dueno joined the firm in 2018 as a partner. He concentrates his practice on Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Finance and general corporate matters. He has represented publicly-traded companies, closely-held companies, start-ups, private equity and venture capital funds as well as individuals and small businesses in their acquisitions, financings and general corporate needs.

David represents public and private companies in connection with their strategic acquisitions and dispositions. He also represents small and medium sized enterprises in connection with the sale of the company and financial investors in connection with their purchases of companies and/or investments. David has been lead lawyer on approximately 120 M&A and investment transactions. David also represents private equity and venture capital funds in connection with their acquisitions and dispositions. In addition, David regularly counsels individuals and small businesses in connection with their interactions with such funds, including the sale of their businesses. David worked in Switzerland for 12 years as in-house counsel at a private equity fund and a financial institution operating as a fund. He has been lead lawyer on approximately 100 private equity transactions.

David represents borrowers in connection with their borrowing from banks, in connection with issuing publicly and privately placed notes and in relation to alternative funding sources. David’s experience includes all manner of general corporate advice, from drafting and negotiating simple commercial contracts to counseling C-suite executives regarding corporate governance matters and transformative business transactions.
